A new start-up from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) in Munich will receive funding by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi). The new company is specializing on testing apps using the crowd.
Websites (online shops, etc.) and mobile apps (iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Blackberry OS) have to be tested before their release. Testbirds offers a new service which supports companies in testing their new websites and apps, which are planned to be rolled out. Testbirds connects these companies with users who are willing to test these apps and give their feedback. Based on these usability tests the companies can then improve their websites and apps within a couple of days.
